LIFETIME SERVICE COMMITMENT This is one of the rarest American pocket watches I have ever seen by the Famous Old American firm of Rockford, from Rockford Illinois. Firstly, it is was designed to be used around early scientific and electronic equipment as it is fitted with an experimental anti-magnetic case. Additionally the watch is also fitted with an unusual enamel dial with the traditional subsidiary seconds at 3:00 instead of at 6:00. The watch was also produced at the changeover from keywinding to stemwinding and it can actually be wound with a key. You will likely never see another example of this model again. It is lever set as well, like the earliest Railroad Watches.
